Dr. Mark Miely shares a deep passion for dentistry, family, and his community. He graduated from Wittenberg University with his undergraduate degree, and then received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University. Dr. Miely has dedicated himself to the pursuit of expanding his skills by staying knowledgeable about the latest techniques, equipment, and trends. Dr. Miely takes an additional 50-100 hours per year of continuing education beyond what is mandated. Dr. Miely is certified in moderate sedation allowing for fewer dental treatment appointments.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Miely enjoys swimming, golfing, biking, and sprint triathlons. He is happily married to his wife Molly, and together they have three children. Their daughter Sara graduated from the Miami University and resides in Upper Arlington with husband Brett and Dr. Miely’s granddaughter, Morgan. Dr. Miely’s daughter Jayne, and son Matthew, both graduated from Wittenberg University. Jayne is currently in Chicago serving as an Internal Medicine Chief Resident at Rush Hospital. Matthew works for J.P. Morgan in Columbus and is pursuing his love of music with his band, Thomas and the Work-Men.

Sam
Hygienist
Sam grew up in a small town in Northwest Ohio and moved to Columbus to pursue a dental hygiene degree at The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, she began working for Dr. Miely. Sam chose this career path because she wanted to be able to build relationships with patients, while also helping to educate and motivate patients to better their oral health. Getting to build relationships with patients over the years and seeing them better their oral health every step of the way has been very rewarding. She loves that her job has allowed her to continue to grow and learn everyday, while also having fun! When Sam is not working, she likes spending time with her husband, Richie, her family, and her friends. She also enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, traveling, and being outdoors.
Sara
EFDA – Certified Dental Assistant
Sara grew up in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Groveport Madison High School in 2015. In 2017, she started her career in dentistry after completing her dental assistant schooling at Fairfield Career Center. Since then, she has also completed her secondary training at The Ohio State University to become a licenced EFDA. Ultimately Sara chose dental for her strong drive to serve her community and help people feel their most healthy selves in the process, she enjoys connecting with patients and making a difference in their lives. In her leisure time, Sara enjoys attending live music events, hiking and spending time with her Boyfriend, Kyle and their rescue pitbull, Humphrey.
Kristen
Patient Co-ordinator
Kristen grew up in Columbus, Ohio and recently moved to German Village. Kristen graduated with her associates in Business Management at CSCC. She has a deep passion for helping patients and making them feel at ease. With 4 years in the dental field, she loves learning new things and the opportunity to provide a positive experience for our patients. In her free time, she loves to keep busy with traveling, reading, hiking and trying new restaurants. Bring up food or national parks and she will always have the best recommendations!
Cheryl
Office Manager
Cheryl began her journey in the dental industry over 30 years ago, while pursuing her education at Franklin University. Since 1998, she has been an integral part of Dr. Miely’s practice as the office manager, where she excels at helping patients navigate their dental care and create manageable payment solutions.
Outside of the office, Cheryl embraces an active lifestyle alongside her husband David. Together, they pursue various outdoor adventures including kayaking, four-wheeling, hiking, and camping. She values spending quality time with family and friends, and loves sharing stories about her beloved nephews and niece.
